One place for the whole tournament.
Everyone on the same page.

Straight answers about what ObviousCall does, who it is for and what it costs.

What is ObviousCall?

ObviousCall is tournament management software that puts the whole tournament in one place: team registration, scheduling, officials, event staff, team communication and payouts. Everyone who touches the event works off the same board, so everyone is on the same page.

Who is ObviousCall for?

Tournament directors, referee assigners, camp directors, officials, and teams, including coaches, parents and players. Each has its own playbook on the same platform.

Which sports does it work for?

Any tournament. ObviousCall is not built around one sport.

How much does ObviousCall cost?

Free to start, with nothing to sign and nobody to call. Accounts for officials are free, always.

Can I use it only for assigning referees?

Yes. Assign against real availability, publish only what changed, fix holes on game day, and pay your officials from the same board. You do not need the rest of the tournament on the platform for this to work.

What happens when a game time or court changes?

ObviousCall works out who the change touches: both teams, the assigned officials and the court staff. Each of them gets one message. Everyone else hears nothing.

How are officials and staff paid?

Team payments come in, and official and staff payouts go out, from the same board. 1099s are produced at year end.

Does it replace the separate tools I use now?

Yes. Registration, scheduling, officials, staff, team communication and payouts are one system with one record, instead of six tools stitched together for one weekend.

What is Scout?

Scout is the AI assistant built into ObviousCall. Ask it anything about your event in plain language. It drafts the schedule, the message or the evaluation, and you approve it. Scout never sends, publishes or assigns on its own.
